Cancellation Policy

At Sea Services, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and dignified experience for all families. Due to the solemn nature of our ash scattering operations and the significant planning involved, we maintain a strict cancellation policy outlined below.

1. No Cancellations or Rescheduling by Clients

Once a sailing is confirmed and scheduled, clients may not cancel or reschedule for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal conflicts

  • Guest availability

  • Weather preferences

  • Travel or logistical delays

Our team assigns specific vessels, captains, and crew to each service, and we are unable to make changes once confirmation has been issued.

2. Cancellations Due to Unsafe Conditions

The only scenario under which a service may be canceled or rescheduled is if the captain determines that sea or weather conditions are unsafe for sailing. This decision is made strictly in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard guidelines and the captain’s professional judgment.

⚠️ The captain’s decision is final and based solely on safety considerations.

3. Rescheduling in the Event of Unsafe Conditions

If your sailing is canceled due to unsafe weather or sea conditions:

  • We will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the service on a mutually agreeable date.

  • Rescheduling is subject to vessel, crew, and location availability.

4. Refunds if Rescheduling is Not Possible

In the rare event that we are unable to agree on a rescheduled date, we will issue a 100% refund of the original booking fee.

💳 Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

5. Additional Notes

  • This policy is in place to protect the safety of our passengers and the integrity of our operations.

  • We strongly encourage guests to plan travel and accommodations with flexibility, in case of weather-related changes.
