Burial at Sea in Louisiana
No place honors its departed like Louisiana. From New Orleans, families reach the wide waters where the Mississippi meets the Gulf — a farewell in the spirit of a culture that celebrates every life well lived.
Sea Services has arranged burials at sea and ash scatterings in Louisiana since 1991. Every service is performed by U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captains in full compliance with EPA regulations, a minimum of three nautical miles from shore, aboard Coast Guard–approved vessels.
